Blaine Cowan Obituary

Blaine was a self-taught carpenter. He was a meticulous and hard-working man. When he worked at Kelsey Construction in Winnipeg, he supervised the construction of many commercial buildings. He then started his own business. Because of his perfectionist nature the homes he built were well planned and beautiful. He also did renovations and additions. During Blaine’s life he worked as a carpenter in Kenville, Winnipeg, Brandon, Cranbrook B.C. and Cranberry Portage, Manitoba.

Blaine was predeceased by his grandparents Ernie and Stella Fawcett; parents Jim and Leone Cowan and his brother Kelvin (Kelly).

Left to remember him, are his siblings Yvonne Sabirsh (Garry), Ken (Sue), Gil (Cathy) and Corinne Gamble; aunt Ardyth Longworth, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Blaine was a private person, so at his request there will be no funeral. He will be laid to rest in Harlington Riverside Cemetery.
