Bobbie Marie Chartrand

Bobbie Marie Chartrand was born on September 28, 1981, at the Swan Valley Hospital. Tragically, Bobbie passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 42 years and 2 days. Bobbie lived most of her life in Bowsman, MB, she attended Bowsman School and Swan Valley Regional Secondary School. She received her Grade 12 diploma at the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre in 2007. Bobbie enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting with her dad Norman and her brothers. She also loved horseback riding with her friend Cathy. Bobbie loved to cook and bake. Bobbie loved having her nieces and nephews around and enjoyed it when they and others would have sleepovers at her farm. Bobbie was a stay-at-home mom until her children were attending school and then, at that time, she decided to go to work. She worked at Fas Gas, Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre, and Title Loans, just to name a few. Bobbie is survived by her mom, Audrey Chartrand, her dad Norman Graham (Karry Ann) and her 3 children; daughter Tayler (David) and grandson Bryson, daughter Rienn, and her son Cole (Brooke). Her brothers Rick, Cory, Mervin, and Howard (Aleida), Grandmother Norma Graham and one sister, Dana. Bobbie is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bobbie was predeceased by her grandparents, Mervin Graham, Louie and Olive Chartrand, Uncle Clarence, cousins Christopher and Ronnie, baby nephew Cody, sister-in-law Victoria and fur-baby Dixie. A wake for Bobbie will be held at the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre on Friday October 13, 2023, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be held on October 14, 2023, at 9:30am at the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre. Prayers for the Service will be led by Bobbie’s Uncle, Les Emerson. Pallbearers will be Norman Graham, Cole Church, Cory Chartrand, Mervin Graham, Howard Graham, and Rick Chartrand. The family considers all of Bobbie’s cousins and friends as Honorary Pallbearers. Bobbie will be laid to rest in the Birchwood Cemetery in Swan River, following the funeral service. Donations in Bobbie’s memory can be made to the Swan Valley Animal Protection League.
