On May 9, 2025, at 7:09 p.m., we lost our beloved daughter, Breanna Emily Taylor Howdle.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Travis and their precious son Maverick; her parents, Sandra Woiken and Bruce Thompson; her sisters Renee and Alisha; her stepsisters Beatrice and Aydyn; her grandmother Beverly Thompson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Breanna was predeceased by her Grampa Bruce Thompson, Uncle Raymond Thompson, Granny Janet Woiken, and Grampa Frank Woiken.
Breanna was born in Dauphin, Manitoba, on July 21, 1998. She grew up in Kenville, Manitoba, where she spent her childhood surrounded by love. In 2017, she met Travis Howdle—the love of her life. They were married on March 10, 2019. One year later, they returned to Kenville and began building their little family.
On July 11, 2020, Maverick was born. He was her pride and joy, and becoming a mother was her greatest accomplishment. Breanna was a kind, devoted mom who would often sing to her son:
“I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always.
As long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”
Breanna was known for her infectious laugh, her warmth, and her deep love for her family and friends. She enjoyed hosting BBQs, filling her home with food, laughter, and love. She shared a very special bond with her Grandma Thompson—they spoke every day without fail.
Breanna’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but her love and light will carry on in her son, her family, and the memories they shared.
