Catherine will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery, SCN, MB following the funeral service.

In Loving Memory & Celebration of Life

Catherine Rose Genaille (girl) was born to the late Frederick George Genaille and Rosemary Cook on April 22nd, 1990.

She will be greatly misseded by her loving mother, Rosemary and step-dad Horace Cook; her siblings, Caitlin and Kyle Genaille & Brandon Sinclair; her two beautiful daughters, Bailey Rose (Beep) and McKinley Munro (Bubbs). Catherine will be missed by so many especially her Kookum, Betty Ann Sinclair and her favourite cuz, Christine (Peanut).

Catherine was a quiet person and mostly kept to herself. She loved camping with family and playing guitar and singing.

She worked for CFS and was a foster parent. Her mother would call her “Girl” but she knew when her mom was mad she called her by her name “Catherine.”

She attended NDKMS and graduated in 2009 and also went to Southeast College in Winnipeg.

She is survived by: her aunties, Sheila, Devina (Jerry), Shelley (Uncle Nelson), Flora (Humphrey) Uncle Thomas (Daphne); Uncles, Rod, Ivan (Judy), Faron (Lorna), Larry, Patrick & Nelson; Aunties, Shirley (Sidney), Sarah, Evelyn, Gloria (Tom), Diane, Nellie, Lorraine & Josephine; her Chooms, Nicky & Nicholson, Rod (Vitaline) Sinclair, Douglas (Marlene) Gott, Stanley (Rose Alice) Opecapo; Kookums Ruby MacDonald (Joe), Herman (Camilla); her nieces & nephews, Sydney, Patty, Lucas, Marlin, Whitney, Kyzen, Emerson, Malaki, Lennox, Lotus & Lolabell; so many cousins who will miss her dearly. If we missed anybody it was not intentional.

Catherine was predeceased by: her baby girl, Bella Dee Reign Munro (Oct. 13, 2020), Baby Genaille (Nov. 24, 2021), Baby Boys Hunter Dee Munro (March 11, 2016) & Baby Boy Genaille-Munro (December 28, 2017); her dad, Frederick Genaille (Dec. 4, 1995), Choom Willard Sinclair; Choom & Kookum Louis & Ada Genaille, her chapans Isabelle Sinclair ,Richard& Bertha Gott, Antoine &Catherine Genaille, Auntie Joan Gott  (Uncle Melvin Gott).

The Lord said, “I love you and I would never leave you. When you saw only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you.”
