It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Chelsea Denise Cote on February 17th, 2024 in Brandon MB, at the age of 36.


Chelsea was the born in Swan River, MB to Marilyn Cote and Danny Fagnan on March 20th, 1988. Chelsea was the youngest of four children. 


Chelsea was baptized at the St. Columba Catholic Church in Swan River, MB.


Chelsea was actively involved at the Blue Door and the John Howard Society, where she attended programs and activities that were held for their clients. Chelsea also did odd jobs from time to time at the bus depot for Ronnie and Ida Brass. 


Chelsea was a loving kind person, forever giving small gifts or trinkets to friends and family. Chelsea enjoyed telling jokes and making everyone laugh with her bluntness and sarcasm.


Chelsea took pride in her appearance, she was always neatly composed with her etiquette for fashion and flare. 


Chelsea leaves to cherish her memory, her grandmother  Sarah Sutherland, sister Lacey (Aaron), brother Daniel. Nephew's Liam, Tai, Damon, Tristen, niece, Jalanna. Great uncle Alex Genaille, great aunt, Edna Genaille, aunties Rita (Alfred), Anita (Dennis), Leona (Darryl), Janet, Cara-lee, Deloris, Nancy, Lucy, Lori, Bernice. Uncles, Wilfred, Kevin, and George. As well as numerous relatives and friends. 


Chelsea was predeceased by her parents, Marilyn and Danny, sister Dianna (Missy), grandfather's Harry Sutherland, St. Peter Fagnan and James McDonald. Grandmother, Alice Fagnan, great uncles, Charles Genaille, Rodrick Stevens. Great aunts, Mary Brass, Mary and Bill Church. Uncles, Timothy, James, and  Willard. Aunties, Marlene, Melanie, Shirley, Virginia and Patricia, along with other family members and friends that have passed.
