Clemmie Gabriel Gott of Dawson Bay, Manitoba, passed away in Winnipeg on October 29, 2019 at the age of 66 years.
Clemmie was born in Shoal River, Manitoba on May 22nd, 1953 to Albert and Melanie Gott.
On July 5th, 1978 Clemmie married Lily Flora Cook-Gott at the Roman Catholic Church in Swan River, Manitoba.
Clemmie grew up in Overflowing River, Manitoba, where he was a commercial fisherman, trapper, hunter and later in life a harvester of natural medicine, He taught that to the younger generations. He did his hunting in the fall, trapping in the winter. In his spare time he liked to drive around and go to the Aseneskak Casino, as well as visit with friends. His favourite was seeing Morgan, he called him Morky and Morgan called him choome-Chapan.
Clemmie is survived by: his children Joyce Cook, Eric Cook Sr. (Elsie Gott), Eleonore Cook, Leonard and Jaime Gott, Terra and Trevor Corbett, Clemmie Jr. and Jennifer Gott, Melanie and Marcel Dumas, Priscilla Gott, Lissa Gott; three grandchildren he raised Tesia Cook, Duane Gott and Dylan Gott; 53 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren too numerous to mention by name.
