Corliss Stevens

My daughter, Corliss Margaret, passed away July. 3, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She left behind her beloved husband, Lorrie.E.Stevens and her two sisters, Maxine and twin sister, Coral.

Corliss was a fighter to the last of her days. She was very strong and faithful.  She was a very loved by all. She had a very contagious personality and was very friendly to everyone who knew her. She had a very strong motherly and disciplinary love for her 5 children whom she left; Raven, Aaron, Terrlyn, Errol and Whisper. Corliss and Lorrie would have been celebrating 16 years of marriage July 16, 2021. She also loved gospel music so much was always in her phone and listening. Her fav gospel singer was Jim Felix. The Lord loved her so much when HE saw her suffering that HE took her home to be with HIM in HIS heavenly Kingdom.  The angels carried her into Abraham’s bosom on July 3, 2021 as they did with Lazurus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores.  Luke 16: vs. 20 & 22.  She believed in our Lord Jesus right to the last of her days.

It is hard to lose someone you love so much and Corliss was such a person for me. I love you and be seeing you soon, my daughter and my darling.    MOM.

Corliss left behind quite a bit of family members, including brothers and sisters. There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and chooms, Roderick Sinclair, Nicky Sinclair, and Nicholson Sinclair.  The greatest loves she left behind is her husband, Lorrie and her first choomie, Rosalie Eva Edna Cook.

Corliss dad, Graham Lambert Cook, predeceased her May 13, 2021. Her niece, Deanna Elizabeth Munro. Her baby brother, Jeremiah David Bourassa. Her grandparents, Johnny and Mina Cook, her grandmother, Sylvia Cook.  Her aunts Clarice Chartier, Louise Moore, and Rose Genaille.

Active Honorary Pallbearers are Warren Stevens, Ross Stevens and Cyrus Cherubim Bourassa.

Active Pallbearers are Sterling Cook, Layne Munro, WhiteCloud Cook, Isaiah Genaille, Gilbert Cook, Chavez George, Zebadiah Merasty , Kenneth Watt , David Brass and all of Corliss friends, nephews, nieces, relatives and cousins are to consider themselves active pallbearers.
