Darcy was born in Swan River, MB. Darcy Passed away in Brandon, MB on June 6th, 2024, at 1:25 am
Before his illness Darcy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed drawing and making dreamcatchers. He was a happy go lucky guy. At the age of 14, Darcy travelled to the U.S.A. and visited the site of Wounded Knee and other native historical sites. Darcy did commercial fishing with his late uncle Lyle. He was briefly employed as a security guard with Wuskwi Sipihk F.N. He worked as a painter/landscaper in Swan River.
Darcy was raised in WSFN by his grandparents Lillian and Norman Audy. He lived in Birch River, Pukatawagon, Swan River, Winnipeg and eventually made Brandon his home.
Darcy is predeceased by his: Grandparents; Norman and Lillian Audy; George & Emma Genaille, Aunts: Linda Quill, Vivian (Audy) Williams, Bonnie Audy, Harriet Audy, Gladys Audy. Uncles; Duncan Audy, Lyle Audy, Alderick Audy. Sister; Jolene Chartrand. Daughter; Carly Ballantyne-Audy.
Darcy leaves to mourn his passing: Mother; JoAnn Audy; Father; Daniel Genaille; Brothers; Eugene Audy, Sheldon (Katelyn) O’Neill, Doug Fidler Jr, Merlin Leask, Daniel Audy Jr., Aaron, BJ, Paul, Hank, Walter & Joe Cook; Sisters; Rochelle, Charlotte, Carmelita (Cheetah), Diana, Dana, Tammy; Adopted sister by heart: Leona Rausch; Aunts; Mary (Bill) Bryan, Beverly (Steve) Gornik, Trenna Niebergall; Uncles; Terry Niebergall, Norman Quill; Grandson; Aries Ballantyne; Cousins, nieces, nephews, family, friends too numerous to mention. If anyone was forgotten it wasn’t intentional.
