With sadness the family of Delbert Tripp announces his sudden passing on June 2nd, 2019 with his wife Diane by his side. Delbert was born in Bowsman to Raymond and Gladys Tripp on February 21st, 1944. Delbert was raised on the family farm with his siblings Gwen, Allan, Elsie and David.
As a child Delbert attended Wild Rose School. He worked as a parts Manager and Salesman in the Swan River Valley; at Case, Valley Bearing and then retired in 2002, from Napa where he worked as their parts delivery man.
On September 3rd, 1966, Delbert married Christina Stratychuk. Together they raised their children, Riley and Lorinda in Swan River. After Chris’s passing on January 23rd, 2000, Delbert continued to make Swan River his home.
Delbert was blessed to find true love once again, he married Diane Yablonski on June 8th, 2002. Over the 17 years they spent together; they enjoyed camping, fishing, attending country jamborees and dances with their many friends. They also spent many times enjoying all their families at various events, diners and special occasions.
They also spent three winters snowbirding in Texas where they met many new friends and greatly enjoyed their many adventures; as well as the highlight of their friend Ken’s musical talent.
Left to mourn him; is his wife Diane; son Riley (Carolanne); daughter Lorinda and his grandchildren; Delbert’s step children Sandy (Mike), Jennifer (Verne), Michael (Marie) and Rob (Todd); and his step grand and great grandchildren; his siblings Gwen, Allan, Elsie (Ike), David (Carol) and many nieces and nephews.
