Dianna "Missy" Marie Cote

It is with great sadness and sorrow that the children of Dianna Marie Cote announce the passing of their beloved mother on June 28th, 2023 at her residence in Birch River, Manitoba, at the age of 40. Dianna who was fondly known as "Missy",  was born on April 11th, 1983 in Swan River, Manitoba to Marilyn Cote and Danny Fagnan. 

Missy was baptized at the St. Columba Catholic Church into the Catholic Faith in Swan River, Manitoba.

Missy was the eldest of four children, raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she attended elementary school. Her family later relocated back to Swan River. As a young adult Missy began her own family. She went on to have three children, Jalanna, Tristen, and Damon; whom she loved dearly as they were her life. 

Once her family was complete, Missy returned back to school, attending  the Adult Education Program in Swan River where she received her High School Diploma.  

Missy was  blessed with a beautiful soul. For she was always a soft spoken, quiet, polite person with a kind and caring heart who liked to keep to herself.

One of Missy's favorite pastimes was spending time with her sister Chelsey. Missy also enjoyed the company of all her siblings, as well as visiting with other family members and friends.  

Missy was predeceased by her parents, Marilyn and Danny, great grand parents St. Peter and Charlotte Genaille, grand father's Harry Southerland, St. Peter Fagnan, James McDonald, grand mother Alice Fagnan. Great Uncles, Charles Genaille and Rodrick Stevens. Great aunts, Mary Brass, Mary and Bill Church. Uncles Timothy Genaille, Willard and James Fagnan. Aunts Marlene Southerland, Shirley Cote, Virginia Muswagon. As well as numerous relatives and friends.

Missy is survived by her loving children, daughter Jalanna, sons Tristen and Damon. Grand mother Sara Southerland, sister's Lacey (Aaron), Chelsey, and her brother Daniel. Nephew's Liam and Tai. Great uncle Alexander Genaille, great aunt Edna Genaille.  Aunt's Rita (Alfred), Patricia, Anita (Denis), Melanie (Alex), Leona (Darryl), Janet, Cara-lee, Deloris, Nancy, Lucy, Lori and Bernice. Uncles, Wilfred, Kevin and George. As well as numerous relatives and friends.

Missy will be sadly missed by all who loved and adored her.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 22nd 2023 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Paull Funeral Home, Swan River, MB.

Missy will be laid to rest in the Birchwood Cemetery, Swan River, Manitoba following the funeral service.
