Douglas Lanktree Obituary

It is with great sadness the family of Doug Lanktree announces his passing May 22nd, 2024 at Brandon Health Centre.

Lovingly remembered by is wife Barb of 48 years. He is also survived by his sister Joan Vyse and sister-in-law Chris Lanktree and numerous nieces and nephews.

Doug was born in Mindemoya, Ontario, Manitoulin Island. Doug and Barb moved west in 1976, moved to Benito, MB in 1983 they owned a small grocery store and worked at Ag Shield MFg for approximately 30 years and then retired in 2020.

Doug was an avid fisherman and hunter. Doug loved spending time with friends having a few drinks playing darts, one of his favorite passtimes. Doug was a member of Elk Foundation. He loved to garden, go camping and golfing.

Doug will never be forgotten and greatly missed.
