Georgina Young

Georgina Young of Bowsman Manitoba departed peacefully in her home on the early morning of March 24, 2025 at the age of 48 years. Georgina was born in The Pas Manitoba on April 22, 1976 to Andrew Young and Ella Church. She was raised by her stepfather Walter Church who played a significant role in her upbringing.

Georgina received her education at Swan Valley Secondary School.

For seven years, Georgina shared a loving relationship with the late Derek Audy, with whom she raised five Children together. Then later spent the last 17 years of her life with Doug Burnett.

Georgina worked many different jobs such a Baker helper, a home-maker, waitress and bartender. Georginas hobbies included sewing, reading, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, watching her favourite shows and cooking for those who she loved.

 Georgina is survived by her Mother; Ella Church, Step Father; Walter Church. Children; Adopted son Billy Young, Jaunie Young, Benjamin Young (Tory Young), Derick Young, Merick Young. Siblings; Elizabeth Young, Yvette Young, Matthew Young, Cheryl Michelle, Mark Church. Grandchildren; Thaydeus Assoignon, Baby Johnny Young, Brenna Young, Brenlee Young, Brooklyn Young, Seth Young and Liam Young. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Georgina was predeceased by Grandparents; Mickey and Lena Constant and, Louise Church. Father; Andrew Young. Siblings; Billy Young. Numerous Uncles, Aunties and Cousins.
