Gilbert William Paul Brass

Gilbert William Paul, age 34, grew up on the main reserve WSFN and for a short time S.C.N throughout his life with numerous relatives playing, running around the reserve, working on fences with his late Dad Brian Brass SR. As a kid, he liked helping out around his community as he mentioned all the time. Gilbert had lots to tell, when you got to know him. He went to school on WSFN Reserve; Ms Quill was his favorite teacher, who taught him well in school. He also attended Joe Ross school in his High School Days, where he also grew up and worked as cart boy at the mall. He had multiple odd jobs while living in The Pas, with his late Brother Brian Brass Jr and sister in law Lisa. Gilbert also worked at his Reserve WSFN at the store being night security. He has done multiple odd jobs there as well throughout the years. Then summer of July 2019 he met Kecia Genaille, ex spouse of 9 years and they had 4 kids: Amberlee Mary Genaille-Paul, Ginger Emma Genaille-Paul, Courage of the Truth Rain Genaille-Brass and Bravery Sterling Standing Strong Genaille-Brass. It was Gilbert’s happiest moment you could tell in his bright smile, and days when he was saddest was when he missed his family. He lived in Pelican Rapids for 3 years and moved to IBR and lived there for the rest of his days with his mom Mary Paul (late) and late sister Brianna Paul and brother Byron Paul.
