Gordon Leskiw Obituary

Gordon Leskiw passed away peacefully on September 30, 2020 at the age of 90 in the Winnipegosis & District Health Centre.

Gordon was born on August 20, 1930 in Dauphin and grew up on the Genik family farm in Venlaw, MB. He lived in Brandon and Roblin. Gordon spent the last few years lovingly cared for by his nephew Garry Leskiw and Monica Guiboche in Camperville, MB. Gordon was interested in tractors, watching birds and wildlife, and loved to read. He was also a “postcard” artist.

Gordon was predeceased by a twin brother at birth, his parents Alexander and Annie (Genik) Leskiw and brothers Walter Leskiw and Joseph Leskiw.

Gordon will be missed by nephews Garry Leskiw (Monica Guiboche) Camperville MB and Glenn (Janet) Leskiw Selkirk MB.

Also left to cherish his memory is sister Emily Brychka of Dauphin, MB and her family: Joanne (Don) Oleski Melville SK, Marcia (Richard) Klak Calgary AB, Donna (Bruce) Slusar Saskatoon SK and Carol (David) Enns Winnipeg MB.

A service for Gordon will be held in 2021.
