Iona Kozak

In keeping with Iona's wishes, cremation will take place and a service, will be held at a later date.

Iona Mae Kozak of Benito, Manitoba, passed away in the Benito Personal Care Home on October 13th, 2020 at the age of 86 years.

Iona was born in Grandview, Manitoba to John and Olive Belton. This is where she grew up and received her education as well.

Iona married Andrew Kozak on August 19, 1972 in the Benito United Church, Benito, Manitoba.

Left to mourn Iona’s passing: are her husband Andy Kozak; children Guy Gamberg (Mary Ann), Amy Gamberg (Steve Baker), Brian Gamberg (Kathy), Todd Gamberg (Carolyn Wells), and Kathy Kozak-Hill (Dana); nieces Millie Androney and Rose-Marie Schaak (Rick); 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Iona was predeceased by her mother and father Jack and Ollie Belton; mother and father in law Ksenia And Andrew Sr.; and by her brother in law John and Anne Kozak.

As per Iona’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial service will be held at a later date.
