Jarret Don Kematch of Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation passed away in Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation on December 4, 2025, at the age of 36 years.


Jarrett was born in Swan River on July 13, 1989


Jarrett was born to Nathan Kematch of Wuskwi Sipihk, MB and Marilyn Flett of Flin Flon, MB


Jarret was attending adult education in the Wuskwi Sipihk working on completing his Gr 12.


Jarrett lived in numerous areas throughout his life Wuskwi Sipihk, Sapotaweyak, Winnipeg, Thompson, Jarrett lived in Flin Flon with his mother and recently moved back home to Wuskwi Sipihk to fish with Dad.


Jarrett favorite pass time was spending it with his brother Josh, his cousins, family and close friends. He also enjoyed playing electronic of all kinds, he loved visiting everyone in the community,


Jarrett loved his daily chats and talks with everyone, where no one couldn’t get him to stop talking. (LOL) He was loved by many people in his life Jarrett was a very humble, kind, and polite, young man. he appreciated chatting with family or his friends. He offered help to others when he could lend a helping hand. We will all miss our son, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend.


Jarrett loved his children very much, he seen them when he could or always spoke of them.


Jarret found himself laughing about his baptism how he wasn’t baptized until he was 27 years old, he had to find himself godparents, which would be his cousins Nelson Kematch and Rebecca Genaille. they would laugh or joke about it to each other when they saw one other, he was very proud of this time in his life.


Jarrett did a lot of labour work through out his life in numerous areas; he would fish with his dad and family when he was home during the winter months.


Jarrett will always be 36 years young forever….
