John Audy

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our brother, dad, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and choom, Chap on Saturday November 2, 2019. Chap was well liked/loved by all that knew him. Never a dull moment with this man.

His greatest pastime was driving around visiting his friends and making more friends. Through all the years he’s had different lady friends and he had adopted all his step-children. Our brother loved all the children including all his choomies. He would torture/tickle the babies with his beard, always made the babies scream and he would just laugh at them. He also loved to play Texas holdem, Poker and horse shoe with the guys from Indian Birch. His other favorite pastime was hunting and harvesting sweet grass and other traditional medications. Chap was a humble man and would not hesitate to help when asked. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John (Chap) is survived by: his son’s Lance (Jasmine), Bear, Ty and Remy; stepsons Dean, Ruby and Conrad Kematch; stepdaughters Monica Leask and Angelique Genaille; plus many more stepchildren who he loved very much; his brothers Ephem (Sophie) Sakayigun, and Clayton Audy; sisters Ann Mary Audy, Karen (Theodore) George, Peggy Audy, Lorraine (Collin) Chartrand, Koreen Kematch, Delores Campeau and Paula (Calvin) Campeau; aunties Vitaline (Rod) Sinclair, Lucy Audy; uncles Alec Audy and Albert Audy; his best friend Dana Genaille and many more too numerous to mention.

John (Chap) is predeceased by: his son John-John; parents Wm. John and Maria Audy; grandparents Zacheus and Margaret Audy, and John and Caroline Chartrand; sister Thelma Awoyemi; baby brother Norbert Gabriel Steve Audy; and many more uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention.
