In Loving Memory of
On January 25, 2025, at 3:17 AM, at St. Boniface Hospital, Kelly passed on into the Spirit World. During his last moments, he was surrounded by his sisters Kally, Keeyra, Promise; his auntie Chantell; his grandmother Mary (Bill), and father, Pierre B.
He was born in Swan River to Avery Quill and Noreen Cook. He lived in Swan River with his partner Flora and Avery Ryan. He grew up in Wuskwi Sipihk most of his life. Kelly was raised by Pierre Brass and Charleen Spence-Cook during his younger years.
Kelly loved his music, playing basketball with friends, ice skating, hockey, rodeo, and walking with his partner around Swan River. Kelly liked to joke around and make people laugh.
Kelly leaves behind: his son Avery Ryan and partner Flora Houle; Mother, Noreen Cook and Pierre Brass & Charleen Spence-Cook, whom he called Mom and Dad; Sisters Skylynn and Shylynn McKay, Rhiann Lathlin, Shandy Cook, Kally, Keeyra, Promise, Klair, and Klara Quill-Cook; Brothers Darren McKay, Malcolm Cook, Kordell Lathlin, Cage Cook; Grandmother Mary (Bill) Bryan; Aunties Chantell Quill, April Bryan, Brenda and Alma Cook, Eliza Brass; Uncles, Jacob Unger, Kyle Quill, Gilbert and James Cook as well as numerous extended relatives, too many to mention.
If we forgot anyone, it was not our intention.
Kelly is in our hearts and memories.
Kelly was predeceased by: Dad, Avery Quill; brother, Creed Quill-Cook, uncles Derry Larston, Brian Brass, Terry Quill, Cory and Robert Cook; Grandparents, Howard and Clara Cook, Brian Brass Sr.; great-grandparents, Roland and Eva Brass, Lillian (Norman) Audy, Ralph Kematch, and numerous extended relatives and friends.
