Lauren Lydia Genaille

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of our Daughter, Mother, Sister, Niece, Auntie, and Friend. Lauren Lydia Genaille passed away at the age of 25 years old. She passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of December 27, 2025, with family by her side at Brandon Hospital.

Lauren was born on August 4, 2000, to Selena and Leon Sr. in Brandon, MB. She lived all her life in Sapotaweyak. She attended the NKDMS from nursery to grade 10. Lauren really enjoyed visiting with her friends, especially with her older siblings. Lauren loved visiting her mom Selena. Lauren is survived by her children Piper, Torey, Laurence, and baby girl Treasure, her mom Selena, her dad Leon Sr., her brother Leon Jr., and Joshua Stevens, her sisters Raven, Cheyenne, Laura, her Aunties Valery Gott, Ida (Carsten) Eckloff, Norma Stevens, Uncles Humphrey (Flora), Dan (Karen) Dethmers, Fred (Nora), Rod, Warren (Myrtle), Gary, Lorrie, and her koo-kum Helen Stevens. She is also survived by nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Lauren is predeceased by her sister Robyn Chartier, grandparents Ernest Stevens, Tony and Lydia Genaille, Uncles, Aunties, and cousins too numerous to mention.
