It is with great sorrow with the untimely death of Logan under tragic circumstances that his family announces his passing. Logan was born on January 29, 2003 in Swan River Manitoba to his mother, Esther Kematch. Logan attended high school until the 11th grade at Swan River. He reached the tender age of 21 years. He was cared for by his mother as an infant with the help of his grandparents, Harold and Harriet Kematch and his uncles, Cecil and Mark Kematch.
Logan loved life and always wanted good things for all, with special wishes for his only brother Eden. The story is that he came home from school one day and told his mom, “my name is Cody and my brother’s name is Poodie.” And this name stuck, Logan loved his little brother. Logan helped his mom raise his little brother and he was very protective of him. Those younger years are beautiful memories for the mother.
Logan was easy going and quiet, enjoying company of friends and relatives. The tumultuous years arrived and Logan fought a lifestyle with all the courage he could muster to garner inner strength, through the teachings he received in his younger years Logan continued to show his respect and kindness for others. These are the traits I want all to remember my son, Logan Harold Kematch-Munro.

His Smile
Though his smile is gone
Forever and his hand
I cannot touch
I still have many memories of the I loved so much
His memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part
God has him in his keeping
I have him in my heart
Sadly missed and never forgotten.
My son, kisakitin. I love you so very much and I will miss you always. You opened my eyes to many experiences being your mom and I wanted so much more for you. You will be there waiting for me and your brother one day in the stars with your baby brother Joseph. Forever in my heart, my son.
