Lola was the daughter of a pioneering family that worked hard to get ahead and progress. She took great pride in her family, home, yard, and garden. She was a great homemaker, cook, and always a great host. Happy to put the coffee on for company and never to busy to stop for a visit.
She loved playing cards, was an author of 2 books, kept many diaries, and had detailed photo albums documenting the years. She was an excellent seamstress, loved knitting, crocheting, and quilting.
There was always a pail of chocolate chip cookies in the freezer for the grandkids to run to as soon as they got to grandma’s house. She lived independently and cut her own grass till she was 90 years old.
Grandma and grandpa loved their camper and spent lots of time fishing in their early retirement. The camper was always the meeting spot in the rodeo grounds parking lot. They made a great team, worked hard and well together. They will be happy to finally be reunited. We say thank you for the long life for Lola, for the 50 years Lola and Gerald had together and for the reunion that now brings them back together to spent eternity.
