Louise Shirley Ann (Barker) Wood

Louise Wood, 70 years, of Baden, Manitoba passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2024; crossing over to join her parents Albert and Gertie Barker. She was born on December 10th, 1953 in Swan River, Manitoba.

Louise is survived by: her husband Jim Wood; children, David Barker (6 children, 11 grandchildren); Cheryl Barker (4 children, 1 deceased grandson, 5 grandchildren), Donovan (5 children), and Doreen (3 children); her sister, Lucy Barker; brothers, Gilbert, Clifford & Doug as well as numerous extended ralatives and friends.

Louise enjoyed sitting on her porch in the summer time with her family. She was known to talk on the phone for hours to her sister. One of the greatest gifts in life was the opportunity to raise her grandchildren. She loved all things beautiful but especially her roses.

She will be thought of often and missed for many years by all who had the chance to know her.
