Marguerite Mullin

Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Agnes Marguerite Mullin on July 4th, 2023.

Mom was pre-deceased by both her parents, Allan & Mary Graham, her husband Herbert, her brothers Ted (Marjorie), Art (Mamie), Rod, Gordon, Louie (Dorothy) and sisters Kathleen McKee (Bert) and Loretta Ferriss (Harry).  She leaves to mourn her children, daughter Barbara Kubas (Randy), Grandson Michael and his children Kelsey & Dylan, Daughter Dana Clark (Trevor) and Daughter Jessica Kubas (Brett), son Rick (Darlene), grandson Aaron (Ashton) and children Maya & Dre, grandson Mark and his daughter Abby, grandson Drew and granddaughter Sydney, and son Brian, grandson Darcy(Jasmine) and their son Amiri.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom grew up in the Craigsford District near Bowsman.  She attended school until Grade 8, then left home to work for Calvin & Berle Mullin.  She and dad were married on August 18, 1954 and resided on the Mullin family farm until a logging accident took our dad’s life on March 1, 1966.  We moved to Bowsman where she lived until moving to Swan River in 1995.  Mom worked at the Personal Care Home as a Health Care Aide until her retirement.  She cherished the many friendships she developed with her co-workers, and looked forward to their monthly luncheons.  She moved to an apartment and lived independently until a fall in June 2023 caused her hospitalization.

A graveside service will be held with only close relatives attending at the Bowsman Cemetary.  A come and go tea will follow from 1:00 to 3:00 on the 12th of August 2023 at the Swan River Seniors Centre.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the local Animal Rescue Centre or a Charity of your choice.
