Mary Ann Richard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, auntie, godmother, and grandmother, Maryann Richard on November 5, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Maryann was born on July 13, 1962 in Duck Bay, Manitoba and was raised there by her parents Abraham (Abe) Joseph and Evelyn Ledoux.

Maryann came from a large family of 10 siblings (7 sisters and 3 brothers). She grew up spending most of her summers at Kettle Hills with her family and enjoyed picking blueberries during her time there. She loved fishing, playing bingo and cards, dancing and jigging. Her favourite activities to do with her grandchildren was spending days at the beach, going for rides to look at wildlife, and taking them fishing.

She was predeceased by her father, Abraham Joseph Ledoux; two brothers, Louis and James (Jimmy Boy) Ledoux; grandparents Napoleon and Maryann Ledoux; Abraham John (AJ) and Catherine Munroe; and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband of thirty-six years, Kenny Richard; her children Sarah (Dan) Chartrand, Russ Richard, and Steph Richard; her grandchildren Nolan Richard, Mackenzie Chartrand, Aaliyah Sutherland, Tatum Richard, Hailey Sutherland, Maya Chartrand, Dakota Sutherland, and Victoria Sutherland; her mother, Evelyn Ledoux; her sisters Angela (Clifford) Flett; Adele Ledoux; Brian (Lillian) Ledoux; Loretta (Glen) Thompson; Joanne (Dave) Maynard; Debbie (Ron) Laubmann; Sheila (Andrew) Pelletier; Vivian (Anthony) Scott.
