Pamela Gay Thompson
December 22nd, 1964 – June 13th, 2025
Pamela was born on December 22nd, 1964, to Glen and Vera Thompson in Swan River, MB. If anyone knew Pam, they knew she was a free spirit and didn’t stay too long in one place. Pam lived in many different places, Watson, Spalding, Moose Jaw, Regina, Mosbank, Unity, Sandy Bay, Edmonton, Calgary, and Bowsman. After her brother passed, she moved to Swan River, where she made her home for the last 15 years with her son Reid. Pam and Reid were the best of friends, they did everything together, they were inseparable. On Pamelas travels she picked up many hobbies. She knew how to bead and create the most beautiful dream catchers and lighter cases too, any design you wanted she made happen. She loved writing and baking and crocheted over 100 blankets. She was naturally talented and so creative in everything she did. Pamela loved having her grandkids over even when they were being brats. She had a special spot in her heart for all 16 of them along with her nieces and nephews. She helped Chris look after his kids when he was working for a bit. Pamela graduated in 2017, shortly after that got her class 1, she always talked about truck driving and the passion she had for it. She loved writing and listening to dance music. Pam also loved cooking and baking for Sunday dinners with Michelle and her kids. When her sister had dinner she always said, “I made too much” and she would take a plate home for later. Pam loved spending time with her family and was always very proud of her kids and grandkids. Logan loved talking with his grandma; once they started talking, they would talk for hours.
Pamela was an amazing woman who had a spectacular life, she brought joy to everyone that knew her, she loved everyone and had the biggest heart. She will be missed greatly, she always told me when I was younger if I ever missed her just look at the moon and she will be looking back.
Pamela is survived by her sister Lorraine (Barry) Primrose, Pam’s 5 Children Michael (Angela) their 3 children, Michael, Lisa, Benjamin; Michelle and her 5 children, Natalia, Logan, Catherine, Julie, Jayce; Son Morley; Daughter Raven and her 8 children, Daleah, Isabella, Baylee, Skyla, Jared, Lyric, Ivy, Amantha and many extended relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.
