In Remembrance
Patrick Levi Eaglestick of Brandon, passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 24th, 2020 at the age of 25 years.
Patrick was born in Swan River on November 9th, 1994 to Penny Eaglestick and Vernon Brass. He graduated with a Mature High School Diploma from Neelin Off Campus in Brandon.
Patrick’s interest included, but were not limited to; drawing; a passion for tattooing; video games; he always liked name brand clothes; dressing up and taking selfies; playing basketball; spending time with his only nephew, Paxton, he would always say let’s go to the park and find girls, used Paxton as a babe magnet; he enjoyed time with friends and family, he always would give someone a helping hand’ he loved his cell phone and texting everyone; listening to music and Patrick was a grass dancer. His grandmother Chris taught him the traditional ways and culture. She also got him dancing pow-wow’s.
Patrick is survived by; his parents Vernon Brass and Penny Eaglestick; sisters Petrina and Caresse; nephew Paxton; granny Linda; grandpa Norman Leask; grandpa John Louis Eaglestick (Sagkeeng FN); mothers side Pauline, John, Stanford Jr., Patricia, Curtis, Evan and Paige; father’s side Dexter, Merle, Everett, Miles, Patricia, Ben, Art and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Patrick was predeceased by; his grandfather Stanford Eaglestick; grandmother Beverly Brass; chapans John Eaglestick (Sagkeeng FN), Pauline and Bill Stevens, Eva and Roland Brass; uncles and aunts.
As a parent, we are not supposed to outlive our children. This is a tragic loss for us and everyone that loved him. There is no words to explain the pain and hurt of losing my only son. You will always be in my heart, my son. You were taken from me way too early. Grandpa will take care of you now. I love you
