Peter “Bud” James Ludwig passed away at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB on March 15, 2023 at the age of 78.

Peter was born in Roblin, MB on December 11, 1944. He worked as a carpenter for many years in Winnipeg, MB. Peter moved his family to Calgary, AB in 1974, then to Gwynne, Ab in 1976 and eventually to Ethelbert, MB in 2000.

Peter enjoyed Hunting, Trapping, Fishing, Camping and building. 

Peter is predeceased by his parents Peter & Florence Ludwig. His brothers: Robert, Lyle & Calvin. His sisters: Mavis, Elizabeth, Bernice, Shirley & countless nieces, nephews & cousins.

Peter is survived by Gloria his loving wife of 54 years. They were married in Roblin, MB on November 31, 1968.

Peter is lovingly remembered by children: Peter (Heather), Crystal, Lorrissa (Harmony), Shane (Jessica). His grandchildren Iluak, Kahlan & Bruin, his sister Elaine McKay, his brother Harvey Ludwig, countless cousins, nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be held at Paull Funeral Home, 506 2nd St N, Swan River, MB on Wednesday, March 29th from 1-4pm.

The Funeral Service and burial will be held at Gartmore-Zorra Evergreen Cemetery in Togo, SK on Friday, March 31st at 11am. A reception will take place at Merridale Hall to follow at 2pm.
