Remona Jessica Leask

When we saw you, you were the most beautiful precious little girl, you

had 10 toes, 10 fingers, hair, a cute little face that made us want to

smile and laugh.

Remona Jessica Leask was born to her loving mother Tanya Melissa

Leask and Father Albert Stanley Chartrand on June, 10th/1996 in Swan

River, Manitoba.

She was raised by her Grandparents Michael & Virginia in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation along side her beautiful loving sister Wilma Crystal who she cherished and looked after daily with the support from her Parents, Uncles, Aunties until their teenage years.

She enjoyed spending days with her sisters, square dancing, taking part in treaty days, travelling with her Grandparents visiting family in Dawson Bay, The Pas, Mafeking and spending most of her time with friends in SCN who brought a smile to her face, made her laugh, enjoying their company and loved making precious memories together.

Remona lived most of her life in Sapotaweyak where she attended NDKMS during her early years, she left for Highschool to attend south East Collage in Winnipeg and later earned her Highschool diploma in 2014 graduating alongside her childhood friends in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

She was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation for a few years after Graduating and decided to pursue her Education enrolling in UCN where she completed her Hairdressing Course.

Remona lived common law with her partner Bradley Munro “Born into the arms on an Angel” tiny footprints in mommy and daddy’s hearts on April, 20th/2018 their beautiful Daughter Tabitha Natasha Munro blessed both parents with a brief visit leaving their hearts filled with love & Forever Cherishing her memory.

She leaves behind her Father Albert S. Chartrand, sisters Augustina, Paradise, Arys & Hayle, Brother Dominique & Special Friend Bradley Munro.

Her maternal family Grand Parents Roger (Kim) Gott, Selena (Dennis) Cook,  Aunties Inez, Tracey, Rena, Garilee, Halana, Lena ,Leola, Percy-Rachel & Uncles Ian, Derry & Robert.

Her Paternal Family Grandmother Viginia (Clifford) George, Aunties Geraldine, Tracey, Rhonda, May, Martina & Uncles Kenward, Augustus, Michael & Stanley.

Remona is predeceased by her Mother Tanya Melissa Leask, Sister Wilma Crystal Chartrand – Leask, Aunties Jana-Lynn Gott, Blennie & Albert Gott Grandparents Micheal Gott, Wilma & Dolphus Genaille on her Mother’s side.

Grandfather Michael Chartrand, Uncle Corey Chartrand, BFF Natashia Chartrand – Leask, Cousins Andre Chartrand, Reshonda Maytwayashing, Jessica Chartrand & Calvin Chartrand.
