Rodney Calvin Morgan Hather of Key First Nation, SK. passed away in Swan River, MB, on March 1st, 2024 at the age of 42 years.

Rodney was born in Swan River, MB, on September 16th, 1981, to Anita Quill and Kelvin Genaille.

Rodney received his education in Barrows, MB. Rodney lived in Key First Nation; he grew up in Red Deer Lake, MB. Rodney moved around a lot, wherever his family was, he would be there with them. He loved playing his guitar and singing, he also loved playing baseball, hunting, and being with family and friends.

Predeceased by: Son; Dawson Hather, Dad; Kelvin Genaille, Brothers; Kenny Genaille, and Lenny Hather, Grandparents; Ken and Leona Hather, Hector and Clara Genaille. Nephew; Ryerson Hather, Uncles; Gene Genaille, Lorne Genaille. Aunties; Priscilla Hather, Shirley, Yvonne, Florence (Jap) Genaille.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 25th, 2024 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the Chapel of Paull Funeral Home, Swan River, Manitoba. The wake will continue on at the Saulteauxplex Hall, Key First Nation,  Saskatchewan until March 26th, 2024. Following the wake, cremation will take place and Rodney will be laid to rest at a later date.

Carol McArthur will be officiating a Funeral Service at a later date.
