Rosaline Stephanie Stevens Obituary

Rose, known as “Rosie Girl” was born on March 16th, 1966 to Stanley Opecapo and Hattie Iserhoff (nee Reuben).


Rose passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2023 at the age of 57 in the Flin Flon General Hospital.


She spent her childhood in Moosonee Ontario, and Shoal River, Manitoba. She attended school in both places then went on to Keewatin Community College in The Pas MB. Rose went on to have her only child Johnny Lee Gott whom she loved dearly. Rose spent her remaining years in northern Manitoba, working various jobs, particularly as a cook in Ponton, MB, and Flin Flon, MB. Family and friends always waited for her visits as they loved her cooking and baking. Rose enjoyed the company of her friends from all over. She was a very caring woman who would never hesitate to make you feel welcomed into her home.  She will be missed dearly. Rose leaves to mourn her special friend Ron Powers of Flin Flon, MB.


Predeceased by her Son Johnny Lee Gott, Mother Hattie Ann Iserhoff (nee Reuben), Stepdad Thomas Iserhoff, Grandparents: Richard and Bertha Gott, Grandparents: Robert and Katie Pasquach, Brothers: Travis Gott and David Cook, Uncles: Harvey, Tom, and Delbert Gott, Aunties: Marlene Etherington, Florence Rickard, Ethel Gott, Ada Genaille, Margaret Genaille.


Survived by Grandson Michael Sutherland, Father Stanley (Rose) Opecapo, Brothers: Richard Gott, David (Zelda) Gott, Darren Iserhoff, Timothy (Jasmine) Rickard, Stanley Cook, Delbert Cook, Tarax (Heavanleigh) Opecapo, Glen Opecapo, Sisters, Sarah Shanush & Windy Opecapo; Uncles: Eddy (Bernice) Reuben Douglas (Marlene) Gott, Aunties: Ruby (Joey) McDonald, Betty-Ann Sinclair, Noreen Reuben, Mary-Ann Pasquach, Valery Gott. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and choomies too numerous to mention.
