Rose Emma Stevens (Cook)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, chapan, auntie, sister, niece, cousin, friend, godmother, mother in law, sister in law, daughter in law, a wife to Garry Stevens.

Rose Emma Stevens (Cook) was born on April 28, 1964. Born in Shoal River to Gladys Cook and Jean Baptise Quill. (Big Budd).

Rose grew up in Shoal River and Chemawawin; she received her education in Easterville and later Shoal River. She grew up with her cousins and friends. She'd always stop in on her cousin Barbara. Also stopped in on her cousin Theresa Gott. Rose was well known by a lot of people. She would also help a lot of people when she could. She enjoyed being outside in the summertime picking sweet grass. She loved travelling to places to visit family when she can. She loved her Grandbabies. She was reunited in marriage to Gary Stevens August 3, 1991. 35 Years. She will be missed by many.

Rose is survived by her husband Gary Stevens.  Daughters Ramona Cook, Connie (James Jr) Flett, Helen Stevens .Son Blair Cook Grandchildren Laura, Lorilee, Lorenzo, Deanna, Tanya, Lovelynn, Acein, Marie, Ryder, and Delia Stevens. Mother in Law Helen Stevens; Brothers and Sisters Noel, Robert Cook Jr., Clayton, Sonny, Michael Chartrand, Joe (ethel) Chartrand, Irwin(Denise), Ricky(Charmaine), Theodore(Karen),Mallory George, Amanda, Suzie Cook(JR) and Molly Quill, Brothers and Sisters in laws Fredrick(Nora) Stevens, Rodrick, Eddy, Warren(Myrtle) Stevens, Lorie(Coral), Norma, Selena Stevens, Hubert Thomas Cousins Theresa(Gaston) Gott, Barbara Cook, Melissa Chartrand Uncle and Aunties Rodrick Cook, Ruth Chartrand, Rita Gott, Stella Gott Nieces and Nephews Joshua, Alicia, Noella, Kerry, Columbus, Jerome, Venus, Tyler, Amanda Jr, Marshall, Darnell, Karma, Jonathan, Suzette, Detroit, Nadine, Sundene, Charlie, Christina, As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose is predeceased by Her Parents Gladys Cook and Jean Baptise Quill. Father in law Ernest Stevens; Uncles and Aunties Wilfred(Virginia) Cook, Robert Cook, Marietta Cook, Sisters Angela Thomas, Connie Captain, Brothers Bradley Cook, Wilbert Cook, Bernard Cook, Daughter Maryjane Cook, Son Angus Stevens, Nieces and Nephews Hubert Thomas Jr, Jordan Captain, Ashley McDonald, Jolene Chartrand ,cousin Noreen Cook, Arthur Chartrand.

Beginning at 2pm on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at Noel Cooks Residence in Neeyak, MB for a few hours then continuing at the FCC in Sapotaweyak, MB.
