Shadrach Campeau

On Saturday July 3rd 2021 Shadrach 22 years old suddenly passed away, leaving his Grandparents Edward & Bertha Campeau to Mourn His Passing.  Shadrach moved into his grandparent’s Bertha & Edward Campeau home at the age of 2. He started school at the Frontier School in Pelican Rapids for Nursery then he transferred to the NDKMS at in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

 As Shadrach got older, his grandparents taught him family values respect others and love each other. Together they travelled to Brandon and enjoyed many events at the DOTC days, camping & pick blueberry at kettle hills, enjoyed the Treaty 4 Gathering at Fort Qu’appelle, and Swan River for rodeo days. 

Shadrach graduated from grade 12 in June of the year 2018 at our local high school, Neil Dennis Kematch Memorial School. Everyone was proud of his accomplishment and he travelled with his classmates to Toronto, ON for the grad trip.  After his graduation he started working alongside with his uncle Danny Boy for The Fast Dan Construction Company. Shads loved working alongside with his uncle, his uncle dan taught him the safety standards and duties about being a carpenter along with doing the plumbing and electrical work. Shadrach went to further his education in carpentry at the UCN (university college of the north) campus in Swan River.

Shadrach was an outgoing young man, very optimistic and always brightened up the mood. Shads loved visiting with friends & family, especially his mother Delores & niece Kathleena. Shadrach helped his grandparent’s by maintaining the yard and doing housework.

Shadrach leaves to mourn his dad Martin Joe (Tracey)Campeau and mom Delores Campeau.  Sisters; Katherine, Marteen, & Martina. Nieces ,Kathleena , Mariah, nephews ,Casper ,Isaac,  Matheyus, Aunties: Ann-Mary, Peggy, Karen (Theodore), Lorraine (Colin SR), Paula (Calvin), Koreen, Jenny (frank), Louella(bull). Uncles: Clayton, Ephrem(Sophie), & Danny Boy. Kookum Vitaline (Choom Rodrick Sinclair) & chapan,Harriet kematch

Shadrach is predeceased by his sister Kathleen Audy, grandparents Maria & William John Audy. Uncles John Audy, Edwin Campeau, & Clarence Campeau, Aunties: Valerie Campeau and Thelma Awoyemi. Cousins: Sidney Audy, Colin Jr, Colleen, Rodney brass, Kimberly Kematch, Hoss Campeau. Samantha, Suella, Stephanie, & Benjamin Leask. Celine & Jamie Genaille.  many chooms, kookoms, uncles, aunties, cousins to mention.
