Sheldon Tony Genaille

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, Brother-in-Law and friend.

Sheldon was born on August 16, 1962, to Tony and Lydia Genaille. He was born in Birch River, MB. He grew up in Pelican Rapids where he attended school. Sheldon held down various jobs such as, pulp cutter, a casual worker in the city of Winnipeg in his younger years and he was a fisherman in Norway House.

Sheldon is survived by his sons Gilbert Beauchamp and Meldon Genaille, his sisters Ida (Carsten) Eckloff and Valery Gott, brothers Leon (Genn), Dan (Karen), Dethmers, Humphery (Flora), Gaston (Teresa), Terrance (Georgia) and many nieces and nephews.

Sheldon is predeceased by his wife Joyce Genaille, daughter Carmen Leigh Gott, parents Tony and Lydia, sister Dora, brothers Ephrem (Ruby), John, Herbert, nephews Gord, Trinity, and nieces Charlene and Tiffany.

The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley

of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil, for you are with me;

your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

you anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy

shall follow me all the days of my life,

and I shall dwell in the house of the lord forever.
