Victor Douglas Allan Lysohirka

Surrounded by those he loved, Victor Douglas Allan Lysohirka passed away on
Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, at the age of 70 years old.
Victor will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Karen, their son Regan, his daughters Tammy and Jody, his son Victor Jr., their mother Megan, his son Garrett and his mother Laverne. The true loves of his life, his 11 Grandchildren and his 8 Great-Grandchildren
He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Patricia, Walter (Kim), Carl (Shelley),
Michael (Shirley) and Sister Lois as well as many beloved family members and
his long time friend Dave.
He was predeceased by his Mother Jeanette , His Father Maurice, and
Step - Father Doug (Pops). His Brothers Peter and Michael,
Sisters Donna and Connie. His Niece Sheila and Nephew Marvin.
His Brother-in law Bruce and his Grandson Tyrell.
Born in Lynn Lake , Manitoba, Victor's life was marked by his steady dedication to
his work, and by the love he carried for his family.
Outside of work, Victor had a passion for motorcycles, fishing, and spending time in
nature and he felt most at home under the open sky.
He will be remembered for his deep appreciation of nature’s healing gifts.
Victor's family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Brown, and the team at
Cancer Care Winnipeg. As well as Dr. Marie Noel and the wonderful staff at The
Pas Cancer Care, the Occupational Therapy staff and the
Palliative Care team.
A Celebration of Life will be held October 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at
245 Presonius Drive, Big Eddy, Manitoba
As per Victor’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Internment - St. Clement Anglican Churchyard - Selkirk, Manitoba
