William James Chartrand

It is with great sorrow and sadness that, we the family, announce the passing of our dear beloved brother, William James Chartrand, on September 26th, 2023 in St. Rose Hospital with his family by his side.

William will be missed by all who knew and loved him. William was a man of all trades. He was a fisherman, pulp cutter and also a trapper. He loved spending time with family.

William leaves to mourn by his passing: his siblings, sisters, Viola Chartrand, Shirleyann (Daniel) and Arlene (Stanley); his brothers, Howard Chartrand, Garry Chartrand, Family friend Louie, Jean (Lena) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

William was predeceased by: his parents, Nora & Xavier; brothers, Andre “Pokes”, Franklin and Thomas and a sister, Mary Rita Chartrand.

Mass will be held on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023 at 1:00PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Father Napoleon will officiate.

William’s wishes will be carried our by his siblings at a later date and a celebration of his life will be announced.
