It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our Father, Brother, Uncle, Choom, Chapan and Godfather “Campbell David“.
Campbell David passed away peacefully on May 2,2022 at Winnipeg Health Science Center at the age of 71 years old. Campbell David was born to Allan & Lorna Kematch (Brass) on August 9,1951 at Pelican Rapids, MB.
Campbell David was a loving generous and kind hearted man with a great personality. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, Chapans, family and friends. He also loved teasing and laughing with the people he knew. He had nick names for everyone he knew. He made his rounds every morning visiting having his and tea.
In his early years he worked as a carpenter, security and most of all he loved being a Forest Firefighter Forman he was so devoted and proud of his job.
He loved being out and about and spending time at Bell River and Steeprock Marsh. He loved to dance and sing especially sing to his Elvis tunes.
Campbell David will be sadly missed by his children: Troy Bourassa, Miranda Bourassa, Blair Kematch, Candace Kematch and Destiny Kematch. His brothers & sisters: Andrew Kematch, Tom (Gloria) Kematch, Avery Kematch (Wayne Cordocedo), Judy Kematch, Belinda Kematch and Lorraine Chartrand ( Collin Brass), Sharon Brass, Edward Brass, Liz Brass, Norma Brass ( John Chartrand), Lorna Brass-Munro (Darrin), Gordon Brass, Robert Brass. Uncles: Harold Brass and Alpheus Brass. Aunties: Velma Quill and Christianne Kematch. Godchildren: Booty Stevens & Benetta Brass and his 18 Grandchildren & 10 Chapans.
Campbell David was predeceased by his Parents Allan & Lorna Kematch, Grandfather Andrew Brass, Grandmother Rebecca Kematch, Son Ashley David Kematch, Partner Audrey Kematch, Uncles Seaford Kematch, Ray (Shampoo) Kematch and Lawrence Cook. Aunties Edna Brass, Doris Brass, Josephine Brass, Lois Cook and Naomi Lachose.
