Reni Wyman Genaille

Rene “Skotic” Genaille, born on February 23 1956, in Swan River, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, in Swan River, MB. He was 70 years old.

Rene was a man who cherished life’s simple joys. He had a deep love of horses and found great happiness in their presence. Known for his sense of humor, Rene brought laughter to those around him with his playful spirit and love of joking around. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Melvina Genaille & Hazel Seibrecht, half siblings Sarah Cook & Denis Cook, his brother Dennis Cook, daughter’s Joleen, Rachel, Renee & Raven, Son Marcel. Rene is predeceased by his father Hector Genaille, mother Clara Genaille, siblings Sylvia Crane, Florence Yakimiw, Diane Genaille, Angus Flett, Shirley Genaille, Yvonne McKay, Lawrence Genaille & Kelvin Genaille. He will be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Rene’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy of laughter and love for life bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
